Yesterday evening, East London designer Nasir Mazhar presented his Spring/Summer 2015 Collection as part of the LCM presentations.
Working with Red Bull‘s Catwalk Studio project, Mazhar also collaborated with Grime artist Skepta to create a soundtrack for the runway show. This was rounded off with an after-party at the Monument Strip Club featuring performances from Skepta, Footsie, D Double E, Kingdom and others.
Drinks were supplied all night long by Red Bull, and it was a crazy evening. The vibe was crazy, the clothes looked amazing and everyone was on the right tip. Big ups to Nasir, Skepta and Red Bull for a sick night; I can’t wait to see the collection hit stores.
I took a few photos and you can see them below. Expect to hear more from me about Nasir in the near future, there’s definitely a discussion to be had. In the meantime hit up his website and check out the clothes for yourself, and be sure to check out Skepta’s newest single with Ace Hood, ‘Supposed to Do‘. If you haven’t already trashed your house listening to ‘That’s Not Me‘ really loud then you’re doing it WRONG. Peace.
